About the practice

Holding you while you grow...

There is a quiet steadiness here, a calm presence that meets each moment with care. This is a place where thoughts, feelings, and experiences are noticed
and reflected on without judgment.

Empathy, integrity, and confidentiality guide every interaction, creating safety that is real and dependable.

Here, professional potency brings grounded support, allowing understanding, insight, and personal growth to unfold naturally, at a pace that feels right.

You are welcomed just as you are. Vulnerability is met with kindness, and all experiences are treated with respect, so each step can be taken gently and without pressure. Care is given to both what is expressed and what is quietly held, supporting reflection, clarity, and understanding.

In this environment, empowerment grows steadily, insight becomes clearer, and understanding deepens. Time is given to explore and process experiences
fully, fostering trust, connection, and a sense of being genuinely supported.

Reflection, learning, and meaningful growth are encouraged to take root and flourish, guided by steady presence, ethical practice, and respect for each individual journey.

Whether you are seeking personal therapy or professional supervision, you will be offered a balance of care with thoughtful challenge, allowing insight and
development to emerge in a secure and authentic way.

Canine-Supported Therapy

An Optional Addition to Your Sessions

Canine-assisted therapy is an optional element that I offer within my practice. It is always your choice whether to include this in your sessions. If you decide it feels right for you, you may request the presence of one or both dogs, depending on what feels most supportive and comfortable.

For many people, sitting in a therapy room and beginning to speak about personal experiences can feel vulnerable. The presence of a calm and well-supported dog can gently soften that experience. A dog in the room can bring warmth, natural ease, and a sense of relational safety. Some clients notice that having a dog nearby helps them breathe a little more deeply, settle into the space more fully, or feel less alone while talking through difficult emotions.

Dogs can also offer a grounding point of focus. Stroking a dog, noticing their steady breathing, or simply being alongside them can create small moments of pause when feelings become intense. These moments can support emotional regulation and help you remain present with what you are exploring, without feeling overwhelmed.

Pandora is an independently qualified and registered canine carer. Her presence within sessions is professional, structured, and carefully supported to ensure that all interactions are safe, appropriate, and thoughtfully integrated into the therapeutic space.

Ted is a family pet. He is not a therapy dog and does not provide clinical intervention. His role within sessions is simply that of a gentle, friendly, and cuddly presence. For some clients, his relaxed companionship adds a sense of comfort and familiarity to the room. His presence remains natural and companionable rather than clinical.

The inclusion of either or both dogs is always discussed in advance and guided by your preferences, comfort, and therapeutic needs. You are free to decide how much interaction feels right,or whether you would prefer no interaction at all. At every stage, your autonomy and sense of safety remain central.

Canine-assisted therapy is never a replacement for the therapeutic work itself. Instead, it is an optional layer of support — one that can help create a nurturing, welcoming environment where you feel empowered to move at your own pace.

If you are curious about including Pandora, Ted, or both in your sessions, we can talk this through together and decide what feels most aligned with your needs and comfort.
